Synopsis: Four hundred years ago, the spaceways were shaken by the First Unhuman War, as elves and orcs pitted their best spacefaring skills against one another. Now war has broken out again, and young elven pilot Shaundar Sunfall is ready to answer the call and face his people's ancient enemies; but he learns that war is no great adventure.

This is a filk of "Sink the Bismarck" by Johnny Horton that I wrote for my fanfiction novel series, "The Toy Soldier Saga."  Like my Toy Soldier Book Trailers, I have put together Machinima images to tell the story. Fans of the series will recognize the characters and the plot elements.

*Please note - the image of the Vengeance is a miniature that was handmade (not by me; I found the image with Google,) and yes, you can still hear the chorus singing "Sink the Bismarck" in the background. That's because I just sang my words to a karaoke version of the song.*

FOOTAGE: Dungeons & Dragons, Horatio Hornblower, Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring & The Two Towers, Master & Commander: The Far Side of the World, Pirates of the Caribbean IV: On Stranger Tides, Sharp's War & Treasure Planet.

ADDITIONAL FOOTAGE: Black Prophecy, Final Fantasy VII & VIII, Sonicbomb.com, Warhammer 40000 & World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade.

GRAPHICS: Google; Space Graphics: Hubble Space Telescope; Spelljammer® Graphics & Animations: Silverblade the Enchanter.

MUSIC: "Sink the Vengeance" by Sable, a filk of "Sink the Bismarck" by Johnny Horton; "Robinton's Whistle Tune II" by Anne McCaffrey, Tania Opland & Mike Freeman.

This is a trailer that I made for the online fanfiction novel that I am writing, "Sweet Water & Light Laughter," which is the fourth, and currently final, book in the "Toy Soldier Saga," set in the Spelljammer® fantasy universe. Currently it is still a work in progress.

Synopsis: With the death of his sister and the unofficial disbanding of Sable's Privateers, elven ex-marine Shaundar Sunfall finds himself adrift, until he unexpectedly falls in love and makes the most unlikely of best friends - a drow. He must then quest for the Crown of the Elven Empire on behalf of another Privateer - or wear it himself. Worst of all, the Navy has asked him to return - as their Grand Admiral! In all of this chaos, can Shaundar learn to be an elf again, and find peace at last? Or will his past finally destroy him?

This trailer uses footage from the following video games: Black Prophecy, Final Fantasy VII & VIII, Lineage II: The Chaotic Chronicle, Warcraft III, Warhammer 40000, World of Warcraft: Original & Burning Crusade. It also uses footage from Dungeons & Dragons, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Pirates of the Caribbean IV: On Stranger Tides, Treasure Planet, and Warrior Women: Grace O'Malley.

Awesome space footage is from images taken by the Hubble Space Telescope. Spectacular Spelljammer® graphics and that great video sequence of the elven man-o-war crossing space is from Silverblade the Enchanter. You can find his website at http://www.silverblades-suitcase.com/sj/htm/spelljammer.htm.

Music & Audio Credits: "Of Catastrophic Proportions" by James Dooley, "Archangel" by Two Steps from Hell, "Like Toy Soldiers" by Eminem. No challenge to copyright is intended by my use of any of these materials.
