"A Few Good Elves" Book Trailer 2 - No Unwounded Soldiers
"A Few Good Elves" was my entry in National Novel Writing Month 2011, a contest in which participants are challenged to write 50 000 words in the 30 days of November. I succeeded in the goal but did not finish the novel because it is considerably longer than 50 000 words. The novel was completed Feb.23, 2012, and the final draft was published to Scribd Feb. 28, 2012. (804 pages, 176803 words).
Cover art background "Patrol" created by John "Paladine" Baxter.
This novel is published on Scribd under a Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial-No Derivatives License. I have saved it in a format consistent with the size and type of a paperback novel. Or if you don't want to to subscribe to Scribd, since they have changed how they work since my original posting, click on the picture or link below to read or download the pdf. Good reading to you and thanks for your interest!
I have also been scheduling live readings of my novels on Spreecast, an interactive video platform. These run on Sunday afternoons at 2 pm Pacific Time. Spreecast also archives all shows so that you can watch them later. Here's the links:
Accessibility is important to me because my husband is disabled, so I am creating audiobook versions of the "Toy Soldier" novels. This is a work in progress. Target date for completion is Beltane 2014; if I get it done before then, great! Here is a link to pre-order the entire audiobook. Bandcamp requires that I charge a fee for this, so I am asking for a minimum of $1 Cnd (but if you are inspired to donate more, I thank you.)
Pre-ordering the album also includes my Machinima music video, "Sink the Vengeance (Spelljammer Filk)". This will also be included as a bonus track, but that will be included in the regular release of the audiobook as well.
